Description
The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol Client service registers and updates Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and Domain Name service (DNS) records for this computer. If this service is stopped, this computer will not receive dynamic IP addresses and DNS updates. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
Dhcpcsvc.dll is a 32/64-bit Dynamic Linked Library of code components which does not directly have a GUI.
This directory holds the 32-bit system files on the 64-bit editions of Windows. WOW stands for Windows On Windows. When a 32-bit program runs, Windows will simulate this directory as being c:\windows\system32 for backwards compatibility.
