Invalid NetFile to the CRA - This will save a file with a .TAX extension ...

Dialog text:
This will save a file with a .TAX extension to the same folder where your tax file is saved.

This will open your Web browser at the CRA NETFILE Web site. Follow the CRA's instructions to submit the file you saved in step 1. The information you need to enter is shown here:-

If it was accepted, you will have been given a "confirmation number". Copy this number below to indicate that your tax return has been filed.

If the CRA rejects your return, the reason will be indicated on the CRA's Web page.

Location and name of the NetFile .TAX file to be transmitted

Follow the steps - 1 - 2 - 3 - to NetFile your federal return to the CRA.

Was your NetFile return accepted or rejected by the CRA?

Confirmation number

If you can, return to the interview, make the correction, and try to NetFile again.

Please remember that you are required to NetFile each member of your family separately.

If you cannot fix the problem, you must print the return and file it by mail.
