Fix any registry problems. Use a registry fixer tool to accomplish this. A good registry fixer will fix or remove bad entries and orphaned entries left over from a badly behaving uninstall.

One registry fixer tool that stands out in competitive reviews is part of Fix-It Utilities Professional and SystemSuite Professional.

Remove Application Components

First restart the system, as some uninstallers will not remove key files until a boot cycle.

Delete the folders related to the removed program. Check the "Program Files" and "Program Files (x86)" directories to see if the program name was fully removed. In some cases the directory will be the company name. If so, check the sub-directory to locate the product name directory to remove.
