Solutions and Fixes

Get the Latest Drivers

Check if you are using the latest Bluetooth drivers. There have been many revisions to these drivers.

You can use a product like Driver Genius or Radar Sync to verify you have the latest drivers and help keep all your drivers up-to-date. If you're comfortable with driver installations, you can individually find and install current drivers.

Fix Bluetooth Hardware

Older or malfunctioning Bluetooth hardware may be the source of the problem.

It also possible the two devices are using incompatible hardware, even though it's standard is supposed to prevent this!

Try another more current hardware (on either end) to see if the problem disappears.
