Fix the share on the XP print server for the problem printer:
Click on Start, then Control Panel, and then select Printers.
Right-click on the problem printer, and select Sharing.
Write down the share name of the printer. Stop sharing this printer by clicking the Not Shared radio button, and close the printer folder.
Open the Control Panel again, select Administrative Tools, double-click Services. In the right pane, select the Spooler Service, click Stop, and then click Start.
After the Spooler Service restarts, close the dialog by pressing Ok and close the Services dialog and Administrative Tools dialog.
Re-create the printer share using the share name written down earlier by clicking Start, selecting Control Panel, and then clicking on Printers.
Right-click the problem printer, and then click Sharing.
Click the Shared radio button, and then share the printer with the same
name as before.
