Open Winamp and from the menu select: Options, Preferences Media Library, Portables, Select the Device, and then the Advanced Tab.

Check to make sure the Supported Formats list has the filetype that you are trying to sync.

If the filetype is missing (i.e. wma) then add it with a semi-colon ;wma

Winamp will now sync successfully
