By powering down the device and powering it up again, it may clear the problem. This can often clear software quirks or possibly the devices start-up sequence will clear the problem.

A SoC combines the CPU, Memory, various input and output subsystems and more. These are commonly used in Smartphones, but rarely if ever in PC desktops. Some common examples of SoC chips include NVIDIA Tegra, Qualcomm's Snapdragon, and Texas Instruments OMAP.  More information at Microsoft on SOC_SUBSYSTEM_FAILURE.

While BSoD fatal stop errors are identified by Microsoft Windows, they are often caused by non-Microsoft applications, drivers and hardware issues.
