Authorization failed by filter

  The web server has denied the login request. The web server allows extensions to be added to the server that are written by other developers. This extension/filter processes the login and has rejected it.   
Server Error

401.4 - Unauthorized: Authorization failed by filter installed on the Web server.

You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied. The Web server has a filter installed to verify users connecting to the server and it failed to authenticate your credentials.

Error messages will differ depending on the web server and if replaced by the web site designers.

"401.4 Authorization failed by filter" is only supported by Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services) web servers.
